Following a 14-year tenure at Tourism Calgary as Executive Director, Sport, Culture and Major Events, Jeff now leads Manifesto's Sport Tourism Division.

In his time at Tourism Calgary, Jeff led and supported the acquisition and development of over 600 events and several major event bids including 2019 Canadian Country Music Awards, 2019 CFL Grey Cup, 2019 Red Bull Outliers, 2021 Hub City for Curling Canada, 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship and X Games Calgary generating over $50-million in total funding and $1-billion in total economic impact for Calgary.

As Senior Director, Jeff will focus on creating opportunities to work with leading event rights holders, destination marketing organizations and host cities to develop sport tourism and bid strategies to establish solid funding foundations, win major events, and extend the value of hosting and community legacies.

For Jeff, major events are a catalyst for economic development and cultural growth that can significantly contribute to community well-being, place branding and legacy initiatives.

As Canada's tourism and live events sectors embark on their recovery, Jeff leads the division into a post-COVID market with challenges and opportunites to help rights holders, destination marketing organizations, and host cities.
