Still in his prime, François, a business graduate at the University of Montreal, is entering his 12th year on the Canadian national short track team.

Known for his lightning speed and intelligent strategy, François has added considerable depth to the team that won the Team Relay at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics in one of the most dramatic and lively Canadian sport events in history.

With immense potential and his brightest years in the sport still to come, the younger

Hamelin brother has come into his own by adding one really important piece to his growing resume – Olympic Champion.

His notable results — including an impressive 5th place finish in the 1000m at the 2010 Olympics and a 2010 World Championship silver medal in the 500m — prove that he’s a podium threat in the individual distances as well.
